Peyton Manning is 35 years old coming off three neck surgeries and the Colts have no idea when they would be in a position to get a quarterback like Andrew Luck again.
You don’t bypass franchise quarterbacks.
They don’t always work out, but you can’t take the chance they won’t.
The best move for the Colts is to either trade or release Peyton Manning and move forward with Luck. It was a good run in Indy for Peyton, but this is business and business dictates they should cut ties.
