Honestly, I am tired of talking about a fight that will probably never happen.
There is always something holding it up and someone always has an excuse. Both fighters at one time or another have been at fault and currently the Pacquiao team wants to put off the fight again.
Freddie Roach is a stand up guy and honest one. I know he wants the fight, but I also know he really has no say in who Pacquiao’s fight.
He is hopeful the fight will happen in November.
Trainer Freddie Roach joined Rob Dibble on Fox Sports Radio Tonight, and discussed the status of the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight:
Rob Dibble: Will that fight happen, should it happen, do you care either way if it happens?
Freddie Roach: “I did talk to [Promoter Bob] Arum today, and had a long talk with Bob and he said that fight would take place in November in the new stadium in Vegas. And I said thats a great thing because it gives us time to build that fight up, and get ready for that fight. It’s definitely the best fight in the world, but its the toughest fight for both fighters also.
