During the NFC Championship the Tweets starting to roll out that Kelly was on his way to Tampa.

As of right now, we do not believe a contract has been signed, but Sports By Brooks reports it is a done deal.

FootballScoop.com was first to report the news Sunday night that Chip Kelly has accepted an offer to become the next head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

SbB has since confirmed that Kelly is already assembling a coaching staff – from a source with direct knowledge of the process.

Not surprising that Chip is leaving after his QB and RB declared for the NFL and the NCAA might be bringing down the hammer on Oregon soon.

We will keep you posted.

  1. Isn’t this the same coach that suspended Legarrette Blount?

Good riddance! I’ve got a feeling that a bunch of NCAA sanctions are coming Oregon’s way and he’s jumping ship like the captain of that cruise ship off of the shores of Italy. Maybe Oregon’s next coach will bring a little integrity back to the football program.
