Either say it with your choice or don’t say it all.

Metta World Peace may say some crazy off the wall things, but at least he attaches his name to it, unlike this Lakers player who throws him under the bus, but doesn’t want anyone to know who he is.

What’s more, a source close to the team told that Brown wouldn’t be averse to trading World Peace — not necessarily because of a personality clash but simply because he hasn’t played well.

And that would make some of his teammates happy.

“There are a lot of guys in here who’d just like to see him gone,” one player told on the condition of anonymity. “I think we’d definitely be a better team if everyone didn’t have to walk on eggshells when he’s around.”

What the anonymous player is saying is probably true, but don’t be scared.

If you are man enough to tell the reporter you want to be anonymous, be man enough to say it to Metta World Peace’s face, but I doubt that will happen.

  1. Drew says:

what would providing his name do besides cause a big hole to be formed within the team. People would be split among not wanting to call him out and backing up the team member who came forward. What the guy is doing by staying anonymous is trying not to cause ALL his teammates to be in that situation.
