Glenn Sharpe, a former defensive back for the Miami Hurricanes, was arrested in Georgia for the murder after he shot Christopher Galloway three times during an altercation in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Sharpe bounced around the NFL for a couple of seasons and even won a Super Bowl ring as a practice squad player with the Saints. He is best known as the defensive back who was flagged late for pass interference in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl against the Ohio State Buckeye that sent the game into a second overtime, where Ohio State would prevail, instead of giving Miami their second straight National Championship.
