This is coming from a second hand source, not Gilbert himself.

Kobe has various ailments, but his knees look fine.  He will never be as explosive as he once was, but his fluidity and flexibility seem to have returned.

I wouldn’t be shocked if more players didn’t make that trip to Germany.

That’s what Arenas’ former teammate and friend Nick Young told Kyle Weidie of Truth About It.

“Yea, he’s been working out. He said he got the — I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this — but he got that Kobe treatment on his knees… [reporter makes joke about The Kobe System] “Yea, yea… you could say it’s the Kobe System, but he said it feels great, his knees feel great, and he’s been working out. When I seen him last time, he looked like he was in shape. He lost a lot of weight.”

The Lakers have been in contact with Gilbert and I tend to think he is the best veteran guard on the market (that isn’t saying much).

If he did follow the Kobe System………….

You’re Welcome.
