Terry Bowden and Jim Tressel, together at last! The Akron Zips are doing a fine job of collecting famous former head coaches, hiring the fired-ish Ohio St. Buckeyes coach to come aboard as a Vice President of Strategic Engagement, where his duties will be bringing together alumni and community organizations to help the school. Nobody knows what that means, but it’s probably about branding, as everything else is. It’s a non-athletic department role.
