I know exactly what Larry is saying, but before I break it down here is the full quote.

“Everybody is a little different but I will tell you what. That LeBron James is about as good as I’ve ever seen. I mean this guy is unbelievable. I’m not going to say he’s a Michael Jordan and all that, but he ain’t too far behind. He ain’t too far behind Kobe either. He just hasn’t made some plays down the stretch and he will. He will win multiple championships before he’s out of this league. You can’t be as good as him and not win.”

What Bird is saying makes perfect sense to me.

Lebron from a physical standpoint and skill wise, is one of the most talented NBA players of all time, that is without question.

He has a hump to get over and once he gets over it basketball will be easier not harder.  The monkey will be off his back and he can concentrate on adding on to his legacy.

I have said for years, that if Lebron ever figured it all out, he and his teams would be unstoppable, I thought when I first said it he would have figured it out by now, he hasn’t, but I still think like Bird, he will.
