Riots Break Out At NIKE GALAXY Foamposite Release at Foot Locker in Orlando (Photos)

I don’t understand.

Even though I did grow up in an area where kids got shot for the Jordans, I never understood the fascination with $200+ sneakers.  They are just shoes, but for some people it is an obsession.

If I am going to wait outside for something it better do a lot more for me than look good on my feet. What I really hope are these people who are paying $220 for some shoes aren’t doing it at the expense of other bills like their electric and gas.

Even if the shoes weren’t hideous, no shoes are worth rioting over.

What exactly does that accomplish besides getting maced and clubbed by police? I just don’t get it.

I am sure of the city of Orlando loves seeing this on the news during All-Star Weekend.
