Terrell Owens Says Homes Not in Foreclosure, Simply Sold Under Market Value

by Robert Littal | Posted on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

A couple of real estate sites stating the Owens’ homes were facing foreclosures, but via Owens’ publicist that information is inaccurate.

There were multiple reports that came out today and yesterday that NFL/IFL Wide Receiver, Terrell Owens, owns two properties in the Dallas area that are being foreclosed on while other reports also stated he was “facing foreclosure” on these two same properties (paired with misleading headlines). Both versions of these news reports are false and unfortunately misguiding the public. The property on Commerce Street was sold on February 27, 2012 and the other property on McKinnon has a current offer that has been accepted. Each of these properties is being sold as a short sale due to drop in market values.

Whatever the case maybe, it appears Owens has gotten rid of the properties that he didn’t need anymore.  By doing so relieving some of the debt that he is currently under.
