I understand Matt Forte’s frustrations.

If I was Forte I would be frustrated as well, but he needs to understand one thing.

The NFL is a business and he is an employee. It is all about leverage and timing. He has neither and that is why he isn’t going to get paid.

The Bears thought it was a better business move to bring in Michael Bush, than to give Forte a long term deal at this time. From a business perspective I don’t blame them, but Forte is at the end of his rope. This is what he had to say on his Twitter account.

There’s only so many times a man that has done everything he’s been asked to do can be disrespected! Guess the GOOD GUYS do finish last….

Normally, I would get on guys for this type of whining, but I am going to give him a little rope, even though he is being a bit sensitive.

Not like they pimp smacked him in the face and the franchise tag isn’t going to lead him to bankruptcy. It isn’t about being a good or bad guy, just about business.
