The good news for DeSean Jackson is he will have plenty of money next year to make it rain (over $10 million), the bad news is he is one blown ACL or poor year away from never getting that big money long term contract he wants.

The Eagles could still try to trade him, but I think he stays and this becomes a make or break year for Jackson.

He needs to focus on nothing but football, if he balls so hard and doesn’t become a problem he will get paid, if he doesn’t he won’t.  Pretty simple.

Eagles are the first time this year to officially use their franchise tag.
