When there is little to no market for your services, it is always wise to go to the best team possible. I will assume that was what Brandon Jacobs had in mind signing with the 49ers.

The 49ers already had a pretty strong RB core, so we will see how Jacobs meshes with that unit, but it appears the 49ers want to add vets that have a little more experience with winning.
