One of the things that makes March Madness great is the rivalries. Fans enjoy the misery of their rivals as much as they do the success of their team. Nowhere is it truer than the rivalry between Duke and North Carolina. So when #2 seeded Duke was upset by the UPS Delivery guys from #15 Lehigh, some stores in Chapel Hill decided to make a little money on their rival’s misery.

The above photo is from Darren Rovell’s twitter feed.

From the looks of it, they just took the real shirt and ironed on some letters and the score on the bottom in the middle of the night. But hey, I am not blaming them, these probably sold like crazy and its not like they didn’t have the “Beat Duke” shirts already in stock.

Of course UNC fans will look pretty dumb wearing those shirts if the Tar Heels looks tomorrow to the Creighton Blue Jays.

Speaking of creative T-Shirts, here is one that some clever Creighton Fans did for a game against Kentucky one time.

I fully support this endeavor.

  1. Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
