Not sure what the Warriors are thinking since Dwight would be nothing but a rental player and I doubt he has any interest in signing long term with Warriors.
With that being said the Magic are playing a dangerous game holding on to Dwight while teams are offering solid players.
The Warriors got nowhere when they recently tried to get Dwight Howard in a deal. A Warrior executive said the Magic turned down Monta Ellis and David Lee, with Orlando telling the Warriors it will only move Howard by Thursday’s trading deadline if it can get a “major player” in return.
Who exactly do the Magic think they are going to get?
If they don’t move Dwight by trading deadline it is clear they won’t have to worry about getting a major player in return because they aren’t going to get anything.
