UNC Kendall Marshall Fractures Wrist

Top-seeded North Carolina advanced to the NCAA regional semifinals Sunday with an 87-73 victory over Creighton. But the Tar Heels may have to attempt to keep winning without their starting point guard.

Sophomore ballhandler Kendall Marshall has a fractured scaphoid bone in his right wrist, the team announced after the victory, and his status for Friday’s Round of 16 game in St. Louis in unknown.
