You have to be careful in these streets young men.

This could have been a lot worse.

Alabama wide receiver DeAndrew White was one of two victims hospitalized overnight after sustaining an apparent concussion during an early Thursday altercation on The Strip, a source close to the situation confirmed to the Tuscaloosa Bureau. White, a redshirt sophomore, is not seriously injured, the source said. University police apprehended Ryan Javaris Hamilton, 22, and Quamayne Rakesh Tolbert, 22, for firing handguns in the air during the fight, “allegedly to disperse the crowd,” Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit commander Loyd Baker said. Hamilton and Tolbert were not involved in the fight, and both guns were recovered, Baker said.
