Blake Griffin is Also “Sick and Tired” of Hard Fouls

The NBA is going soft.

You use to have to earn your points in the paint. Players use to assault Michael Jordan when he drove the lane. They wrote a whole book about it “The Jordan Rules”.

What do Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose think should happen? Opponents should part the Red Sea for them? If I was a player in the NBA I would make sure I fouled superstar players hard every time I could, just so they knew they aren’t going to be taking couldn’t take my cornbread without a fight.

Here is what Griffin had to say courtesy of No Guts No Glory.

“I’m definitely sick of taking hard hits,” Griffin said after the Clippers’ shootaround Monday. “…There’s a point, I can’t remember what game it was, in my mind where I thought this is kind of ridiculous. I’m sick of it, but it’s going to keep on happening.”

The beating Griffin’s taken around the rim has impacted him on the court.

“It’s affected me this year a lot, especially with the referees,” he said. “I’m just getting frustrated and getting myself in trouble with officials.”

Cry me a river.

These guys wouldn’t last a round with Clubber Lang.

HUUUUGE mistake. Why would you acknowledge that the fouls are getting to you? Any player who had suspicions about how the hard fouls affected you just got confirmation that they do. Smarten up Nas.
