Last year, Webster was accused of repeatedly having sex with a 15 year old girl. Webster was charged with seven sex crime felonies. Interesting twist in the case is that Ray Lewis has appeared on the witness list.
It’s been well over a decade since Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis found himself sitting in the witness chair at a trial. This time around, his testimony comes from something he isn’t accused of doing.
Former Bengals linebacker Nate Webster faces a trial in Cincinnati for allegedly having sex on multiple occasions with a 15-year-old girl in 2009. Kimball Perry of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Webster’s lawyer has issued a subpoena to Lewis.
Webster could have taken a plea deal that would have required him to spend 4 years in jail, but he rejected that. If found guilty he could spend 30 years in jail.
Webster must think Lewis can sway the jury with a sermon.
