Gus Johnson Being Replaced as Voice of Madden 2013

Gus doesn’t do as many NFL games as he has in the past, so on the hand it makes sense, but can’t say I am overly excited about the replacement.

The latest edition of the popular Madden football game, Madden NFL 13, will have new announcers this year, according to a report. The CBS broadcasting duo of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will provide voice-over commentary for the interactive video game, replacing Gus Johnson and Cris Collinsworth.

On the bright side at least it isn’t Joe Buck.
