When we brought you the original story about Knighton the details were sketchy (Jaguars Terrance Knighton Has Eye Surgery After Incident at Nightclub).

But there is what I said at the time.

He is a pretty big guy, so he might have been caught with an object to the eye.

Was Evelyn Lozada or Brandon Marshall in Jacksonville last night?

Come to find out, I was right on the money.

A Jacksonville police reportclaims that Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton threatened to shoot people following an early Sunday morning fight at a local nightclub in which Knighton sustained an eye injury caused by a liquor bottle.

The police report states that Knighton and a friend, “repeatedly made threats to shoot people after having been brought outside” and that “club promoters had to physically force the subjects into their vehicle,” because they refused to leave.  The trouble seems to have started when Knighton and his friend allegedly disrespected a female patron of the club.  Knighton’s agent Tony Fleming claims his client made no threats.

Amazing this all started over a female……………..that never happens in the club.

Sorry, but most football players aren’t that bright to begin with (if you’ve ever lived around them).
