We aren’t exactly sure what happened to Knighton, but it is unlikely he was just an innocent bystander.

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton had eye surgery Sunday after an undisclosed incident.

According to Knighton’s Twitter page, he was at Pure nightclub in Jacksonville, but team officials say they are “gathering information about what happened and are not able to further comment at this time.”

He is a pretty big guy, so he might have been caught with an object to the eye.
