I understand what Waka Flacco Flames is saying.

No different than when Eli Manning was asked if he was “elite”, he said yes. No one says they are the 10th best quarterback in the league.

Sure he could have been a bit more tactful, but you have to think you are the best to be the best. When you start settling that is when you become lazy.

“I assume everybody thinks they’re a top-five quarterback,” Flacco told WNST in Baltimore, via “I mean, I think I’m the best. I don’t think I’m top five, I think I’m the best. I don’t think I’d be very successful at my job if I didn’t feel that way. I mean, C’mon? That’s not really too tough of a question. But that doesn’t mean that things are gonna work out that way. It just means that that’s the way it is, that’s the way I feel it is, and that’s the way I feel it should be.”

Flacco isn’t the best quarterback in the league, most would agree he is outside the top 5 quarterbacks in the game. He is a very solid quarterback. He was won in the playoffs and hasn’t been the reason why the Ravens haven’t gotten to the promise land.

He wants to get paid like he is in the Top 5 when he is really in the Top 10. I don’t blame him because a lot of quarterbacks with resumes less than him are getting overpaid.

He has one year left on his deal, best thing he can do is like Eli go out on the field and prove he is ELITE.
