Kevin Durant Says Lebron James Deserves the MVP Award

In the end MVPs are nice but……………..

The RING is the only thing that matters. It is possible that Lebron James will end up with 4-5 MVP awards maybe more, but especially for him that is irrelevant unless he wins some championships.

Not surprised by the KD quote, because his eyes are on the bigger prize.

From the Oklahoman: “LeBron James’ closest competitor for the 2012 NBA Most Valuable Player award says the Miami Heat star deserves to win it.

‘He deserves all the love (for MVP),’ said Thunder forward Kevin Durant. ‘He’s playing phenomenal basketball. I’m just trying to get better every single game and trying to help my team as much as I can. I’m just blessed to be in that conversation.

Besides a small slump right after the All-Star break, Lebron has been the best most complete player the entire year. It is a regular season award and he should be the regular season MVP.

WINNING MVP IS A GREAT HONOR AND YOU CAN ASK ANY GREAT COMPETITOR IF GIVEN THE CHANCE TO WIN ANY AWARD YOU SHOULD GO FOR IT. LEBRON WANTING TO WIN MVP DOESN’T MEAN HE DOESN’T WANT TO WIN A RING ANY LESS THAN KD. KD REALIZES WHAT EVERYONE ELSE DOES THAT LEBRON WILL WHEN IT WITH HIS HISTORICAL SEASON. I ACTUALLY RESPECT KD FOR MAKING THAT STATEMENT.
