Too many games in my opinion, but it is what it is.
Pretty much takes Artest out of the 1st round of the playoffs and possible a part of the 2nd round of the playoffs.
Remember Kevin Love stomped a mans face intentionally and received a 2 game suspension. Hypocrite runs high in the NBA.
Sterns had to make a statement I guess….next time world peace better chill….
Kevin Love never ran into the stands…

I don’t agree the suspension was a hypocritical decision vis a vis the punishment doled out to Kevin Love.
Ron Artest can change his name all he wants but his behavior over the years hasn’t changed. The man is lucky to have been able to continue to play basketball in the NBA after the first slug-fest incident.
Suspension was too short, given the seriousness of the blow as well as Artest’s history of being unable to control himself.
stepping on someone’s face ! 2 game suspension. 7 game suspension for a elbow and the name RON ARTEST. Sounds hypocritical decision to me.
