I had never heard of Barry University, but it is in Miami Shores and from the pictures at least has a beautiful campus. Shaq has several degrees from several universities.

I am not saying Shaq isn’t smart, but it does let you know if you have a lot of money and free time you can pretty much get any title you want, if you put in a little work.

Doctor O’Neal. Shaq will be awarded his PHD in education this weekend from Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla, a Roman Catholic University.

Shaq put in more than four years of graduate school work, including one-on-one class sessions and completed 16 courses, 54 credit hours, and finished with a 3.8 GPA.

Now if only Dr. Shaq could put together a complete sentence that made sense on Inside the NBA, the whole world would be happy.
