I understand Bosh is trying to downplay the home court advantage the Thunder have and to be honest it didn’t seem to have much of an effect on the Heat, they just were outplayed in the 2nd half.
“Everybody keeps talking about how loud it is,” Bosh said. “It’s regular. We’ve been in a lot of other arenas and it’s about the same. Once it gets really loud, it’s all about the same.”
The Game 1 victory pushed Oklahoma City to 9-0 at home during the 2012 NBA Playoffs. During the regular season, OKC posted a home record of 26-7. The Thunder have sold out Chesapeake Energy Arena 65 consecutive times.
It gets pretty loud, but the Heat are professionals they just need to play better and that will quiet the crowd right down.
