When you know you are about to tell a lie, a lot of times you add a little something to it, so it doesn’t sound like such a big lie.

Bryant said he’s working hard in the offseason program both for himself and because he thinks the Cowboys’ younger receivers need to see from him how to conduct themselves as professionals.

“I just feel like I’m stepping up, doing my job, being accountable, making sure that I’m doing the right things so the people that are under me can do the right things,” Bryant said, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “So you can say, somewhat of a leader.”

Emails and texts have decreased this offseason, so maybe he is starting to mature. Actions speak much louder than words.
