A video capturing an NYPD officer pummeling a teenager, was relased to the public on Saturday.
New York Daily News reports that the teenager, Alfred Burns, attempted to steal a bicycle in front of a New York store on Friday morning. The store’s owner got the attention of a passing patrolman and pointed out the teen.
Officers claim that the teen pushed one of the officers to the ground and put his hands on the cop’s neck. In video obtained at the scene, a second officer is seen getting on top of the teen and officer, wrapping his arms around the teen’s neck and punching him repeatedly in the back of the head.
