Allyson Felix and Jeneba Tarmoh tied for 3rd in the 100 Meters at US Olympic Trials.

Since then people have been trying to figure out how to break the tie. A coin toss and race off have been suggested. Justin Gatlin the winner of the Mens 100 Meters at the US Olympic Trials has a better idea.

100m finals, Justin Gatlin, came up with an alternative solution: Wrestling.

He was joking around, but this probably wasn’t the best idea. From Jim Caple:

“I’m voting for Jell-O wrestling match,” Gatlin said. “Red Jell-O. That’s my favorite.”

The Jell-O quote wasn’t the end of it, either. Instead, he switched it up and decided that mud wrestling would be a better idea. And he did so on SportsCenter…

Gatlin is lucky that probably 90% of the country has no idea who he was or this would be a much bigger story. Yes, he was joking, but it was a bad joke even if harmless.

Gatlin should stick to juicing errrrrrrrr running and leave the jokes to the comedians.
