Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Call Off Divorce, Working on Reconciliation

Kobe Bryant has been working as hard on saving his marriage as he has on developing his fall away jumper.

He knew he has six months to convince Vanessa, that it was cool that she wasn’t in the shooting with him in the gym and they should keep their family together.

He moved out, swore off cheating, gave her three mansions (signed over deeds, they are hers) and basically whatever else she wanted.

With the 6 month deadline coming up this weekend to make the divorce final, unlike the Lakers this year, Bryant will have the ability to  defend at least one ring.

Vanessa Bryant will NOT sign documents to make her divorce final … at least for now ... because TMZ has learned, she and Kobe are working on a full reconciliation.

We’ve learned Kobe and Vanessa are trying to work out the issues that caused her to file for divorce back in December. They spend a lot of time together but he has not officially moved back in with her.

Under California law, Vanessa has to wait 6 months before she can file final docs making the divorce official. The 6-month mark hits this weekend, so Vanessa could end the marriage as early as Monday … but we know she won’t.

Now here’s the deal. We’re told Kobe and Vanessa have had their ups and downs since she filed for divorce … and there’s nothing stopping her from filing final divorce papers at some point in the future if things don’t work out.

Shaq, Phil Jackson, Colorado Room Service girls or anyone for that matter have been able to stop Kobe from basically doing whatever he likes on and off the court.

But, Vanessa from the beginning has played her cards exceptionally well over the years and seems to be the one person that Kobe bows down to. You can say she is a Snake Charmer, or would that be Mamba Charmer?

We wish them well.
