The situation involving Terrell Owens and his now former Indoor Football League team, the Allen Wranglers, appears far from over. The former NFL wide receiver’s lawyers have sent a letter to the team on Friday demanding that their client receive a $160,000 payment as well as a retraction to the story that Owens no showed the team’s event at a children’s hospital.
T.O.’s legal team gave the Wranglers until noon Tuesday to pony up on the demands or else they will seek resolution via legal means. It seems that the stare-down between Owens and the Wranglers is just getting started with neither side showing a tendency to back down.
