Tim Bradley Didn’t Fracture His Foot, But Will Be Out 8 Weeks With Foot Injuries
I never thought Bradley was faking his injuries, but I didn’t think he had broken his foot. If he would have broken his foot there would have been no way he could have continued in his fight with Manny Pacquiao.
The MRI has come back and here are the results.
Timothy Bradley Jr., who won a hugely controversial split decision against Manny Pacquiao on Saturday night in Las Vegas to claim a welterweight world title, is going to be off his feet for a while.
Bradley, who suffered injuries to both of his feet in the bout and came to the post-fight news conference in a wheelchair, has strained and pulled ligaments in his left foot and will be in a cast for eight weeks, manager Cameron Dunkin told ESPN.com on Wednesday.
Bradley also suffered a badly swollen right ankle. At first, Bradley thought he fractured his left foot.
Strain ligaments are painful, but no tears or breaks, so he should be fine in a couple of months.Powered by Sidelines
