The police officially charged Dez Bryant today, but they won’t be getting any help from his mother Angela.

In the end that will probably stop the case from going forward.

According to the NBC TV affiliate in Dallas-Fort Worth, Bryant’s mother, Angela Bryant, won’t press charges against her son. This, even though she supposedly told somebody while she was on the phone with a 911 operator that Dez Bryant “tried to kill me.”

Angela Bryant originally told police that the Cowboys receiver hit her in the face with a ball cap, pulled her hair, tore her shirt and bra, and repeatedly hit her hands and wrists while she tried to defend herself. She also reportedly told somebody who was in the room while she was on the phone with 911 that “I can’t keep letting him do this. … I can’t let him do me like this. I’m tired. I’m going to put an end to it today.”

Only Angela and Dez know what is really going on in their relationship, hopefully it is wake up call to both of them.
