Bulls Decline to Match Offer Sheet for Omer Asik, He’s Officially a Houston Rocket

The Rockets have made a lot of moves, but does any of them make them better than they were last year?

Only time will tell, but I don’t think the Lin/Asik combo is putting fear in anyone’s heart.

The Chicago Bulls have officially decided not to match the Houston Rockets’ three-year, $25 million offer sheet to center Omer Asik, reports The Chicago Tribune‘s K.C. Johnson.

The move had been expected, especially since Chicago signed Nazr Mohammed on Sunday to back up center Joakim Noah.
