Jacque Vaughn Frontrunner for Orlando Magic Head Coaching Job

My initial reaction was……

“Jacque Vaughn? Jacque Vaughn from Kansas? Isn’t he playing overseas somewhere?”

My second reaction was…..

“Jacque Vaughn is 37? Man I feel old”

But it is true that Vaughn has been an assistant coach in the league for a few years with the Spurs and the Magic are serious about hiring him.

Former NBA player Jacque Vaughn may be beating them both out for the open Orlando coaching vacancy, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports and the NBC Sports Network.

The candidacy of San Antonio assistant Jacque Vaughn has gathered momentum in Orlando’s coaching search, league sources tell Y! Sports.
