Jeremy Lin Agrees to Poison Pill Deal With Rockets; Will the Knicks Match?

The Rockets and Lin have been trying to put together a deal that would be impossible for the Knicks to match. The Knicks have been saying that they will match any offer, but we will see.

The poison pill is when a contract is backloaded in a way to discourage teams from matching offer.

Offer sheet for Lin will pay him $5M in year one, $5.2M in year two and $9.3M in years three and again in team option year four, source says.
