Before Dwight Howard lost his mind, I had said that the best place for him would be the Lakers. He could be Hollywood as Hell and no one would care.

He wouldn’t have the pressure of being the leader of the team and could just do what he does best defend and rebound.

He is a better player than Andrew Bynum and if Dwight had any brains he would push for this trade over trying to say Hello Brooklyn.

Barely 24 hours after Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard demanded a trade to the Brooklyn Nets, Yahoo! Sports reports that the Los Angeles Lakers have entered into trade discussions to acquire the 26-year-old.

According to the report, the Lakers would offer center Andrew Bynum to the Magic, while power forward Pau Gasol will likely not be included as the Magic’s desire to accumulate a younger roster.

In my mind the Lakers are the one franchise where Dwight can quickly restore his deteriorating reputation.  Any other place the media will attack him viciously especially the New York media.

He would get a clean slate and people might forget about all the kids he isn’t claiming, saying he was blackmailed by Magic or lying about getting his coach fired.

Smarten Up Dwight and go the Lakers.
