USC head coach Lane Kiffin put on the full court press and got his man.
ESPN.com via Joe Schad is reporting that Redd confirmed to him that he will transfer to USC.
Redd was Penn State’s best player and most high profile loss since sanctions were levied against the program last week.
Redd is eligible to transfer and play immediately and will add a serious punch to their running game possibly giving the Trojans the most explosive offense in America.
I’m sure it’s been an emotional and draining experience for the junior running back.
In the span of two weeks he’s gone from NCAA sanctions, a bowl ban and immense scrutiny, to possibly being the starting tailback for the preseason number 1 team in america.
Not a bad trade-off at all.
