Rockets & Mavericks Interested in Ramon Sessions
Ramon Sessions couldn’t handle the pressure of being the Lakers point guard, so he opted out of his contract. The Lakers were interested in bringing him back, but all that changed once Steve Nash took his talents to Hollywood.
But thanks to the Mavericks and Rockets losing all of their point guards, he does have a pretty decent market for his talents.
The Dallas Mavericks’ stepped-up pursuit of free-agent point guard Ramon Sessions. Now Jeff Caplan of ESPNDallas.comreports that the Houston Rockets have also joined the chase for the former Los Angeles Laker.
The Rockets lost starter Goran Dragic to the Phoenix Suns and then traded Kyle Lowry to the Toronto Raptors. Houston has agreed to a deal with restricted free agent Jeremy Lin, but the New York Knicks are expected to match the offer.
