The Houston Texans and fantasy football addicts can breathe a collective sigh of relief. WR Andre Johnson left practice with just a mild groin pull in practice.
“It just tighten up on me. I hit the ground pretty hard, stretching out for a ball.”, Johnson commented.
Johnson plans to miss about a week of training camp. The five-time pro bowler will just have to add this to his list of nagging injuries. Last season he suffered injuries to both hamstrings.
Head coach Gary Kubiak wanted to be cautious, but feels it isn’t too serious.
While this may not be a setback for the Texans, fantasy football may want to keep Johnson’s nagging injuries when drafting.
