Vikings Adrian Peterson Arrested for Resisting Arrest At the Club

If this account is correct then it should be the police officers who should be under investigation.   I am sure the Vikings love hearing their star running back who is recovering from a torn ACL getting into with a group of rogue police officers.

Peterson, his girlfriend, and some family members were at a nightclub in Houston. At closing time, a group of police officers entered the club, and they began instructing the remaining patrons to leave.

Peterson wanted to get some water before he left, but an officer told Peterson that he needed to leave. Some words apparently were exchanged, but Peterson eventually walked to the exit with one of the club’s bouncers.

It’s believed that one of the officers then jumped on Peterson’s back from behind and tried to take him down. (Key word: “tried.”) Other officers then joined the fray and completed the arrest.

There was video of the incident and it should be clear who was at fault.

If it is true that Peterson was walking around from the incident and jumped from behind the police officer should be fired immediately and charged with assault.

Peterson from the accounts was trying to defuse the situation and the cop wanted to play Superhero. I know how these cops can be ignorant and disrespectful especially in club settings.

When the video becomes available you will be the first to see.
