Viking rookie Matt Kalil is doing a great job thus far of living up to the lofty status that comes with being a USC left tackle and fourth overall pick in the 2012 draft.
Kalil is impressing everyone so far in Vikings camp and driving all pro Jared Allen crazy in the process, which is a compliment in itself.
Pro Football Talk is reporting that Kalil is holding his own in his daily battles with the sack master Allen.
A few weeks ago Allen tried to intimidate his rookie teammate by telling him “Don’t touch Me” and everything will be fine.
Reports say Kalil is doing more than touch Allen and is actually putting in work against grizzly vet.
I say good for Kalil. If he can deal with Allen on a daily basis he will definitely hold his own.
It should make Allen, (Christian) Ponders, and Adrian Peterson all happy regardless of the rules Allen placed up Kalil before camp started.
