We have been waiting for either Chad or Evelyn to make their first public statement, to see if we can get a glimpse on who maybe telling the truth and who maybe lying.
Evelyn has decided to speak out first.
Evelyn tells TMZ, “I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me.” As TMZ first reported … Chad told police that it was Evelyn who actually head-butted him during their blowout argument dispute Saturday night.
Evelyn also says … “It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well.
Domestic violence isn’t ok.
Doesn’t matter the situation, it should never been seen as ok. If Chad Johnson physically assaulted her he should be punished and no one should begrudge Evelyn for pressing charges. According the the 911 call Evelyn may have been the aggressor in the altercation, so she may also want to take some responsibility herself. Domestic violence isn’t a one way street.
She may also want to speak on on the violence she has promoted on her reality show Basketball Wives.
Where she has punched, kicked, pulled hair, thrown glasses and bottles at individuals. Domestic violence is wrong and hopefully this incident lets her know that all violence is wrong. Reality show or not.
