Mo Islom is a former goal keeper for the LSU women’s soccer team. She’s the LSU recover-holder in all time 35 soccer wins and 25 shutouts. Getting to where she is hasn’t been easy, Islom has suffered an eating disorder, losing her father to suicide and a life threatening car accident. All these things hasn’t stopped her yet and her new goal? Joining the LSU Football Program.
“It would just be a fantastic way to spend my last year as a Tiger, and I love the guys on the team. I just think it would be a really special experience.”
She’s participated in LSU Spring Camp and has connected on kicks of 50+ yards. If selected she’ll be the first female kicker in the SEC and second in Division 1 football.
