A former high school basketball coach in Indiana was arrested Friday for two felony charges: child seduction and official misconduct with a student.
If convicted, 39-year-old Todd Boldry, who works as a teacher at Knox (Ind.) Middle School, faces up to six years in jail for the sexual misconduct allegations.
Boldry is facing preliminary charges of child seduction and official misconduct.
According to WNDU.com, the encounter began in the fall of 2007 when Boldry began sending text messages to the victim, a high school junior at the time.
The inappropriate physical conduct allegedly began that December and continued through August of 2009, when the victim says she became pregnant.
She gave birth to her son in May of 2010 and since then, a DNA test had reportedly indicated that Boldry is the child’s father.
