NFL Wont Be Selling Ad Space On Jerseys
Goodell and the NFL won’t be following behind Euro Sports, NASCAR and the newly NBA on adding ad space on uniforms. Stern and the NBA released that with an increase in $100 million in revenue, in 2013 the NBA will be adding ads to their jerseys. Thankfully, Goodell quickly deaded the rumors that the NFL would follow behind.
It’s not something that’s actively being considered in the NFL,” Goodell said. “We like the look that we have on the field. We have a very limited number of partners on our field in general, much less on the uniform, and we think that’s right for the NFL.”
