Olympian Logan Campbell Opened Brothel For Training Money | Robert Littal Presents BlackSportsOnline

Olympian Logan Campbell Needed Money to Train, So He Opened a Brothel

Sounds like an excellent plan to me.

Campbell had some pretty big debts after the 2008 Olympics (over $100k) and if he didn’t make some money he was staring at over $200k in debts by the time 2012 came around, so he did what he had to do.

Brothels are legal in New Zealand. Still, when Campbell opened his establishment in 2009, the New Zealand Olympic Committee wasn’t happy.

But news of Campbell’s business endeavors spread, and the Kiwis responded by donating large sums of money to the country’s taekwondo program. No longer in need of funding, Campbell sold the brothel in 2011.

Now he’s in London, awaiting the start of the men’s 68 kg tournament next Wednesday.

Might have to take a trip to New Zealand.
