Steelers G David DeCastro Suffers Serious Knee Injury
A Steelers offensive line that has always been known to be a bit shaky just got a little more unstable.
ESPN.com via Adam Schefter is reporting that Pittsburgh Steelers 2012 first round pick and potential starting guard David DeCastro suffered a serious knee injury Saturday night.
Reports are that the rookie dislocated his knee cap, tore his medial collateral ligament and suffered some damage to his patellar tendon. The Good news is that his anterior cruciate ligament is intact and not torn.
The Steelers are unsure at this point of the talented rookie will be able to play at all this season.
DeCastro was hurt on a pass play after being bulled over by Buffalo’s Marcell Dareus.Powered by Sidelines
