Warren Sapp Says Evelyn Lozada Headbutted Chad Johnson & Chad is Taking Blame

Sapp is not the best character witness, but he isn’t the only person who believes that Chad Johnson is taking the fall for Evelyn Lozada.

On the advice of his attorney Chad hasn’t made any statements specifically about the incident besides apologizing for letting his fans down.

Here is what Warren thinks happened in the car.

In a recent interview with the Miami Times News, Warren Sapp is asked about the Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada fight. Here’s his take on it.

You think they used the Evelyn Lozada fight to kick him off the team?

Come on. Tell me the first and last name of a brother who headbutted someone.

Chad Johnson, I suppose.

No, before that. When is the last time one of your homeboys called you and told you, “Let me tell you about this fight at the club last night where this guy and his girlfriend were walking by and he turned around and headbutted the girl.” Never. He’s taking the rap for it. We don’t do that. She did it. That’s a woman that is going to depend on her beauty for the rest of her life to open any door she wants to walk through, and she is going to do what to her forehead? I’m done. [Chad] is a bunch of fun and I am sorry this had to happen to him.

He isn’t incorrect in saying that out of all the ways you can get charged with domestic abuse, headbutting is way done on the list, not just for the brothers, but anyone in general.

A headbutt can be seen more as an accident that a punch, kick or slap, but since we don’t know what happened we have to wait until the legal system runs its course with the case.

  • So, it’s implausible for a man, especially a black man to head butt another person, but it’s conceivable that a woman (especially, a woman of color could do it)? I can see why black men are steered away from quarterbacking because it is a thinking man’s position.

  • But a women who bullies other people on TV and claims to be “about that life” and has a history of shady antics is to be believed. You miss me on that one.
